Forest School events

We provide a wide range of forest school activities for children aged 0 – 12 years. During school term we offer Forest School Seedlings for children and their adult 0 – up to 5th birthday, sessions for children that are Home Educated, as well as sometimes being able to offer after school provision. Holiday provision, we try where we can to cater for all age groups offering: Seedlings 0 – 5th birthday, Mudbugs 5 – up to 8th birthday, Woodland Explorers 8 – 12th birthday and hold Family Fun sessions for 0 – 12 year olds and their adults. All of our provision is dependent on the funding we receive. Please scroll down the whole list to see what is in offer.

Tools Policy
Personal tools must not be brought to Forest School sessions. FSSNPT will provide all tools appropriate to the planned activities, to be used only under supervision.
We do not accept liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of personal tools brought to sessions.

Coeden Fach Forest School After-school

Forest School Home Ed @Singleton Park

Join us for our Forest School Seedling session for 0-12 year olds (and their adults who attend FREE and don’t need to book) The site is in the school grounds but you do not need to go into the school to attend, our staff will meet you at a specified place. Our trained Forest School staff facilitate the sessions to support child-led independent exploration, coupled with optional Forest School activities. We provide a unique and holistic approach to support play and child development. There is something for all ages and interests. Forest School positively impacts all areas of a child’s development, from self-esteem, creativity, independence and social skills. PLEASE ONLY BOOK CHILDREN (adult’s attend FREE) TIPS for using this booking system: – Please note that bookings are not confirmed until they have been approved, you will be notified through Eequ once the booking has been accepted. We will send joining instructions prior to the first session to the email provided. We are unable to accept bookings the night before a session. – Grown ups are required to stay for the duration of the session. – Please make the booking under the name of the child and not the parent. You only need to create a profile for your child once. You are then able to book future sessions with all the information already complete.

Forest School Seedlings @Singleton Park

Join us for our Forest School Seedling session for 0-4 year olds (and their adults who attend FREE and don’t need to book). You do not need to have children attending the school, all are welcome. Our trained Forest School staff facilitate the sessions to support child-led independent exploration, coupled with optional Forest School activities. We provide a unique and holistic approach to support play and child development. There is something for all ages and interests. Forest School positively impacts all areas of a child’s development, from self-esteem, creativity, independence and social skills. Glantawe Riverside Seedlings

Please not the time is slightly different for this session as Glantawe Riverside will be offering soup for lunch which you are also invited to. Join us for our Forest School Seedling session for 0-4 year olds (up to their 5th birthday) (and their adults who attend FREE and don’t need to book) Our trained Forest School staff facilitate the sessions to support child-led independent exploration, coupled with optional Forest School activities. Sessions take place at the Glantawe Riverside Park, nestled within the beautiful grounds. Forest School positively impacts all areas of a child’s development, from self-esteem, creativity, independence and social skills. Join us for our Forest School sessions for Home Education families at Glantawe Riverside Park. For 0-12 year olds (and their adults who attend FREE!) Our trained Forest School staff facilitate the sessions to support child-led independent exploration, coupled with optional Forest School activities. We provide a unique and holistic approach to support play and child development. There is something for all ages and interests. Sessions take place at the Riverside, Glantawe site, nestled within the beautiful grounds. Forest School positively impacts all areas of a child’s development, from self-esteem, creativity, independence and social skills.

Home Ed @Singleton Park

Adults do not need to book a slot. Join us for our weekly forest school session for 0 – 12 year olds each Friday afternoon 13.00 – 14.55 Sessions are facilitated by our trained Forest School practitioners to help guide through exploratory forest school activities. We provide a unique approach to supporting holistic play and development. The sessions take place in our delightful setting at Singleton Park. Forest School positively impacts all areas of a child’s development, from self-esteem, creativity, independence and social skills. There’s even hot chocolate!

Join us for our weekly Forest School Seedlings session for 0-5 year olds and their adults. Our trained Forest School Leader, and Assistant facilitate the sessions to support child-led independent exploration, coupled with optional Forest School activities. We provide a unique and holistic approach to support play and child development. There is something for all ages and interests. Forest School positively impacts all areas of a child’s development, from self-esteem, creativity, independence and social skills. Bookings are block booked £12.00

Singleton Park Forest School Seedlings

These sessions are available for all families with 0-4 (up to 5th birthday) year olds. Adults must stay at the site with their children for the duration of the session. Sessions are at in a natural setting at the Ornamental Garden at Singleton Park. Exploring in nature, mud kitchen, crafts, socialisation, seasonal nature activities and much more! A relaxing and fun environment to meet other like-minded grown-ups and watch your children develop and grow, whilst gaining new experiences and skills. Support for all aspects of your child’s learning and their ‘holistic’ development. A safe space which encourages respect for self, others and the environment.
